Sophia is a straight ‘A’ student at a local school
for the arts where she is majoring in Dance. She began
acting on stage at age six and has been in numerous community
theatre and professional stage productions. Her credits
include: the lead role of “Opal” in the musical Opal (Orlando
Repertory Theatre), “Little Cosette” in Les
Miserables (Theatre Winter Haven), and “Worm” in A
Whale of a Tale (Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center). Sophia
can also be heard singing the National Anthem at local sporting
events. In June 2003, Sophia got her first taste of
acting in film when she landed the principal role of “Barbra” for Little
Men. Since then she has completed other projects,
including the lead role of “Molly” in The
Girl Who Couldn’t Dream (Greystreet Productions); “Young
Emily” in Black Oasis (Skychase Films); and
the principal role of “Sarah” in a video for Blast
Zone at Houston Space Center. Sophia is in a national
commercial that is currently running for Pringles. She
loves to play sports, act, sing and dance, and hang out with
her friends. When she grows up she wants to own a horse
farm.
